ABOUT VALLEY BAPTIST DAYCARE
Valley Baptist Daycare is a ministry of Valley Baptist Christian School and Valley Baptist Church.
Valley Baptist Daycare’s mission is to give each child enrolled the most loving care possible. VBD provides a safe and healthy learning environment.
VBD offers full time and part time care for ages six weeks old through pre-kindergarten. While VBD is an exempted religious organization, all state standards have been met or exceeded.
It is our goal to provide a variety of exciting, stimulating activities each day to help your child develop socially, emotionally, physically, and cognitively. This is accomplished through a structure of creative play, songs, stories, inside and outside activities and crafts. Self-discipline is also taught through positive guidance and redirection.
VBD respects parents as the primary and most important provider and believes that parents and teachers are partners in the children’s care. All children will be respected as valued, unique individuals.
OUR STAFF
Every effort is made to hire the most qualified workers for your child. References and backgrounds are checked for every employee, and all state standards are met or exceeded. Staff members are independently certified in first aid and CPR.
CURRICULUM
Valley Baptist Daycare understands that the first five years of childhood are the most important in a child’s growth and development. VBD uses the A Beka Books curriculum for two through four-year-old children and the High Reach curriculum for toddlers. These curricula ensure that each child will be taught age appropriate material for each level, and meet or exceed the standards set forth in Virginia’s Foundation Blocks for Early Learning.
